Magadh can supply a computerized Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) system, which provides quick and accurate screw-down control to maintain close strip tolerances necessary to meet stringent market demands. The roll force cylinders are made from solid forged and heat-treated alloy steel blocks, precision machined, and fitted with special hydraulic seals capable of continuous high-pressure duty and quick response. They are equipped with absolute position transducers from SONY Magnascale or equivalent brands for precision position feedback.
Magadh offers a shape control system for automatic flatness control, aimed at achieving uniform stress distribution within the flatness tolerance range of rolled strips.
The flatness measuring roll is installed as a measuring transducer on the mill, registering all strip tension variations across the strip width and comparing them with the tension stress reference curve. The pressure transducers are arranged in a staggered manner over the roll surface, connected in groups, and fed to a charge amplifier that converts the electric charge into proportional voltages. The optical signals are transferred to the acquisition CPU of the flatness control computer via an optical transmitter.
